How we began...
Namesco Limited as you see us today began as 2 separate Internet companies in 1996 and 1997 as Names.co Internet Services Limited and Webcall.com Limited who merged in late 2000.
Since then, through careful cost control, sensible management and shrewd investment in our technical infrastructure and websites, we have grown stronger, wiser and are now able to deliver industry leading web hosting, domain registration, Broadband and server solutions.
Evolution through acquisition...
In September 2004, Namesco acquired one if its largest competitors; Simply.com Limited who managed 92,000 domain names. Namesco consolidated the business with it's own within 2 months and saw tremendous benefits across the board.
In a strategic move to not only bolster our Broadband subscribers 10 fold, the acquisition of NDO Limited in June 2005 has given Namesco an enviable, Award Winning connectivity data centre in London from which it can provision outstanding ADSL/Broadband products and services.
How far we've come...
From a handful of 'techie' Internet pioneers in the mid 90's to over 80 staff and growing, Namesco Limited are the friendly, customer focused Internet Services and Connectivity company serving the Home User, Small and Medium sized business. Here to stay, growing both organically and through acquisition, we have the experience and sense to ensure continuity in all that we do. We are proud to be the 4th largest domain name and hosting provider within the UK domain sector and ranked within the top 50 largest hosting providers in the World!
How we plan to improve further...
Namesco Limited continue to plan and develop for our customers growing demands. Many new services are always in the pipeline and being launched - just look at our News page for the regularity of past announcements.
We plan on further enhancing our hosting offerings to cater for different groups of customer and businesses, usability of our websites and enhancing the customer control panel. Adding to the suite of domain names that can be registered and enhancing our Broadband offering are also ongoing.
